Fabrication Shop Helper Job Description

Rammac Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fabrication Shop Helper to join our team. As a Fabrication Shop Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fabrication shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in their tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of materials and products.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fabrication shop or related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 32 to 35 hours per week.
  • Proficiency in English as the primary language of communication.
