About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Shop Helper to join our team at Rammac Industries Ltd. as a key member of our metal fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist Metal Workers: Provide support to structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, and other metal workers as needed.
  • Material Handling: Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Metal Preparation: Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and Unload Vehicles: Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
