We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at the City of Windsor. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and support to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development, review, and presentation of financial information to support business decisions
- Contribute to the creation, documentation, and monitoring of financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Provide financial analysis and support to various departments and teams
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support business intelligence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address financial issues and opportunities
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a computerized accounting environment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft applications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Designation in Accounting (CPA/CA, CPA/CGA, CPA/CMA)
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Amanda
- Experience in conducting research, maintaining, and reporting comparative statistics
- Experience in government reporting, procedure-related Quality Assurance reviews, and reporting
- A smoke-free office environment
