Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Analyst for a Permanent Role to join our Corporate Security & Cyber Risk Management team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Enterprise Cyber Security Operations, you will provide expert security knowledge and operational assistance for all entities under our umbrella. Your role will encompass a broad range of technologies, including information technology, operational technology, and customer technology.
Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will be instrumental in identifying and evaluating potential threats to our network and data. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the implementation of new security capabilities while enhancing existing tools and methodologies.
- Collaborating with management to develop new security measures and managing multiple assessments concurrently.
- Conducting thorough assessments to recommend tools and frameworks for risk and security evaluations.
- Proactively scanning the enterprise infrastructure for vulnerabilities and security threats using automated monitoring tools.
- Identifying and suggesting corrective actions to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
- Assisting in digital forensics by gathering relevant evidence in response to policy violations and investigations.
- Monitoring external sources for security intelligence and leading information-sharing sessions with industry partners.
- Utilizing your analytical skills to devise innovative solutions to security challenges and effectively communicating complex concepts to non-technical staff.
- Contributing to the development of security metrics, processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of risk and security management processes and tools.
- Expertise in designing and implementing advanced methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and organizational change management.
- Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to mentor and develop others in the field of Cyber Security.
- Familiarity with NERC CIP standards, Industrial Control Systems, and Azure Microsoft 365 security services is a plus.
