Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. This role supports the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, as well as managing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with Company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage and control store expenses, including labor, inventory, and operational costs
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Prior retail and/or management experience required
- Ability to work up to 38 hours per week
- Physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
