Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the sales team, setting goals and objectives to drive revenue growth and improve sales performance.
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Team Development and Coaching: Coach and develop sales team members to improve their sales skills and performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure they are meeting their sales targets.
- Market Intelligence and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and plans.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance metrics to measure sales performance, providing regular reports and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Director of Sales in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Education: Post-secondary education (Hospitality Degree) in Sales or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and sales strategies.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as sales and marketing software.
