About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Solutions Manager to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, preserving, and growing our market share through proactive sales and relationship management with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Planning, Engineering, Operations, and Conservation and Energy Management departments, as well as local municipalities and industry associations.
  • Expand your knowledge and understanding of the latest HVAC technology solutions, BC Energy Step Code, BC Building Code, and our customer base.
  • Manage sales leads and opportunities in Salesforce, and execute and close sales opportunities to maximize attachments, gas loads, capital assets, and C&EM program incentives.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 4 to 7 years of recent and related experience in B2B and B2C sales.
  • A background in HVAC systems and mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conducting business in both informal and formal settings, and the ability to influence small and large groups.
  • Confident leadership skills to inspire action from clients and represent our company as an energy solutions ambassador.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate win-win outcomes for all parties.
