Director of Optimization Services

CAE Flight Services is a leading provider of flight operations and optimization digital solutions. We empower aviation professionals with the data needed to make informed decisions and take control of critical tasks.
As a Director, Disability Management Services and Implementation, you will lead an international team specializing in optimization services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support during all phases of a product lifecycle, from sales demonstrations to after-sales service.
You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the logic and requirements of airline operations. Your role will involve offering creative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement mathematical programming models to guide development and implementation efforts
- Lead an international team of software developers and implementers
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain software applications for Windows and Linux
- Integrate software solutions with existing systems
- Design and develop APIs for software integration
- Work with database schema and SQL statements to optimize data management
- Develop and implement machine learning and data analytics models
- Work with MIP/LP solvers to optimize large-scale optimization problems
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
- Experience leading an international team
- Strong knowledge of mathematical programming models and software development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with database schema and SQL statements
- Machine learning and data analytics experience
- Working knowledge of C++, C#, and Python
- Experience with MIP/LP solvers
