Food Service Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team at Country Grocer Salt Spring Island.
Job Summary:The Food Service Worker will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, and maintain inventory records.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
