Job Title: Paralegal

Koprich Paralegal Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers in the preparation and presentation of cases, as well as providing administrative support to the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on intellectual property matters and represent clients before the Registrar of Trade-Marks
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of cases, including drafting contracts, preparing promissory notes, and drawing up wills, mortgages, and other legal documents
  • Conduct research and gather evidence to support cases
  • Represent clients before administrative tribunals and boards regarding criminal driving offences
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems and scheduling court trials
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and oversee the maintenance of judicial court records
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
