Financial Analyst Opportunity

Alcool NB Liquor is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. As part of our Shared services, this role will be working with both ANBL and CannabisNB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting – Ensure accurate and compliant financial transactions, maintain charts of accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reporting – Prepare internal and external reports, and respond to requests for information.
  • Accounts Payable – Process invoices, payments, and commodity tax, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Vendor Reconciliations – Perform regular vendor reconciliations and resolve issues.
  • Process Documentation – Review and update procedural documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in accounting or equivalent
  • Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Customer service focus
  • Confidentiality and discretion required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics 365

Work Location:

  • The successful candidate will have the option to work onsite at ANBL's Retail Operations Centre (ROC) in Fredericton, New Brunswick, or work on a hybrid basis dividing their time between home and ROC.
