We are seeking a Project Management Guest Lecturer to engage with a group of 10-15 students enrolled in our professional certificate program. This program serves as an introductory course tailored for international ESL students who are either working in project management or pursuing their studies in higher education. The guest lecturer will share valuable insights into the field of project management in Canada, recount their personal journey to becoming a project manager, and discuss the advantages and challenges associated with the profession. Experience with significant Canadian or multinational projects is highly desirable.
The selected guest lecturer should be available to present during scheduled class hours, which typically run from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm, Monday through Friday. The course spans four weeks, and we are flexible in arranging the presentation to accommodate the lecturer's availability within the course schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures to students in the professional certificate program focused on project management.
- Provide an overview of project management practices in Canada.
- Discuss essential skills required for success in project management.
- Respond to student inquiries and foster an interactive learning environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Experience with large-scale Canadian or multinational projects or organizations.
- A dedication to delivering high-quality educational experiences.
- Compensation is set at $100 for each 1.5-hour lecture session.
