Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Travellers Motel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that our cleaning staff operates efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and oversee cleaning personnel to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team.
  • Conduct inspections of premises to verify compliance with safety and cleanliness regulations.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align work activities.
  • Develop and implement work schedules for the team.
Support InitiativesNewcomers and Refugees
  • Provide assistance with immediate settlement needs for newcomers and refugees, including housing and transportation.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is necessary.
Youth Support
  • Facilitate training to promote a welcoming environment for young employees.
Indigenous Support
  • Deliver cultural competency training to foster an inclusive workplace for Indigenous individuals.
Visible Minorities Support
  • Implement diversity training to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for visible minorities.
