Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Coffrages Synergy is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operates power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Imparts desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
  • Applies hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Waterproofs, damp proofs, and restores surfaces.
  • Repairs, resurfaces, and replaces worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Handling heavy loads.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • As per collective agreement.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
