Production Supervisor II

Job Summary
The Production Supervisor II is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing shift. This position is responsible for overseeing the material flow, human resources, documentation, and training within the production team.
Responsibilities
Coordinate shift changeovers to ensure optimal machinery and human resource utilization, reporting any deficiencies in a timely manner.
Ensure the availability of components and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Monitor job duties to guarantee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and proper documentation.
Investigate and rectify Quality Assurance deviations, revising departmental SOPs and GMP documents as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments, participating in cross-functional activities and maintaining a high level of cooperation.
Act as a resource for employee training and development, ensuring compliance with the Safety Program and holding employees accountable for following safety rules and regulations.
Conduct employee relations activities, including performance reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate new employee training and cross-training programs, identifying training gaps and developing plans to address them.
Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements, maintaining quality standards and completing batch record reviews and daily shift reports.
Qualifications
- Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am
- Education: Degree in a related field (Science or Engineering) or formal management training
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related environment, with 1 year of management experience
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide leadership and make recommendations
- Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks
