The Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a Visiting Nurse. As a Visiting Nurse, you will work independently or in cooperation with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) to develop and maintain effective care plans for patients in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing services to patients in their homes, including one-on-one care and virtual consultations
  • Communicate and liaise with patients, family members, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Perform other clinical duties as required
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • Strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record, including 2-step TB test
  • Vulnerable sector check and clear background check
About the Opportunity

This is a full-time position in the Parry Sound, ON area, with a 2-week rotation that includes weekends and on-call work.
