We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Gurinder Gaba. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Build pallets, load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
- Shipping and Receiving: Ship orders and receive goods in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inventory Management: Pick orders and stock, organize and maintain inventory, and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Quality Control: Weigh materials and goods, make labels, and attach them to goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Store cargo and materials, transport and distribute materials and goods, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a repetitive task environment.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
