Job Title: Material Handler

Gurinder Gaba is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for building pallets, loading and unloading products and materials, and operating various equipment to move goods efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build pallets and prepare them for shipping
  • Load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move goods, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ship orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Pick orders and stock materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Weigh materials and goods accurately
  • Make labels and attach them to goods
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Wrap goods and prepare them for shipping
  • Install, lash, and secure goods for safe transportation
  • Store cargo and materials in a secure and organized manner
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods to customers
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations
  • Handle hazardous products and materials safely and in accordance with regulations
Supervision:

You will be working under the supervision of a team leader and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Repetitive tasks and physical labor
  • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime
  • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
