About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at AL MAEEDAH GROUP LTD. as a Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and organize buffets and banquets to meet customer expectations.
  • Team Management: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff and helpers, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and proficiency in English is required.
