Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- Thoroughly sanitize and wash dishes and kitchen items by hand.
- Maintain accurate records of food usage.
- Prepare take-out food for customers.
- Stock and organize refrigerators and salad bars.
- Process customer orders efficiently.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning supplies safely.
- Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in various storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members while sharing supervisory duties.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Demonstrate food safety and handling skills.
- Manage cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain inventory records for food, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes as needed.
- Food Safety Certificate is required.
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Certificate is preferred.
- Fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Repetitive tasks may be required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
