About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Leader in Psychosis Recovery and Treatment. As an Advanced Practice Clinical Leader, you will support point-of-care staff in the implementation and evaluation of best practices in the assessment, treatment, and recovery of patients with acute psychiatric illnesses and concurrent substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of best practices in the assessment, treatment, and recovery of patients with acute psychiatric illnesses and concurrent substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with the services' Advanced Practice Clinical Leader team to support models of care.
  • Role model clinical practice in complex care situations.
  • Engage in direct care activities for complex and high-risk clients.
  • Support interprofessional collaborative care, academic, and research opportunities.
  • Promote the implementation and audit of documentation standards.
  • Participate in or facilitate quality improvement projects and quality reviews focusing on patient safety.
  • Supervise graduate students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Master's Degree in a regulated health discipline and be a member of good standing in the regulatory body. In addition, 5 years' experience in mental health and addiction treatment is required. You must demonstrate an understanding of the complex psychiatric and physical health needs of this clinical population.
