Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute therapeutic programs that cater to the diverse needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with the Apotex Therapeutic Recreation and Central teams to ensure seamless program delivery
  • Document program progress and client outcomes
  • Supervise and orient volunteers to ensure they are equipped to support our clients
  • Contribute to the development of our team and stay up-to-date with the latest therapeutic recreation practices
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year College Diploma in Recreation or Activation or equivalent
  • Membership in good standing with Therapeutic Recreation Ontario or Activity Professionals of Ontario
  • Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating creative recreation programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with a geriatric population with multiple medical conditions and/or cognitive impairment is an asset
