Position Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse at BROTHER CHOICE FOOD LTD O/A CASH & CARRY. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage various aspects of warehouse logistics and ensure efficient workflow.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education is mandatory.
Work Environment

The work setting is primarily within a warehouse environment, focusing on the effective management of inventory and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports regarding warehouse activities.
  • Oversee the operation of computer systems and machinery, ensuring they function smoothly.
  • Organize maintenance and repair work as necessary.
  • Address work-related issues, providing technical guidance and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Train employees on their roles and company policies.
  • Assign, review, and coordinate work tasks among team members.
  • Establish effective work schedules and procedures.
  • Plan and manage the operational logistics of the warehouse.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role involves supervising a team of approximately 3-4 individuals, including storekeepers and parts clerks, as well as staff across various responsibilities.

Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be capable of handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Experience

Candidates should possess between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with English as the primary working language.
