Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at SOUTHVIEW TRUCKING LTD. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and farm machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, including fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, and cooling systems
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including hydraulic-operated working attachments, compressors, and pumps
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Diagnose and repair problems with diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
