Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing commercial insurance accounts, and working closely with our team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial insurance accounts, including answering client calls, processing paperwork, and providing advice on insurance options.
  • Work closely with our Commercial Insurance Account Executive to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide customers with prompt service, including discussing customer concerns, reviewing existing coverage, and updating customer file information.
  • Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters, and follow up with adjusters on claims status.
Requirements
  • High school and/or post-secondary education.
  • 2-5 years' experience in an office environment.
  • Commercial insurance experience is an asset.
  • RIBO license is an asset.
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset.
  • Previous sales experience is an asset.
