Position Overview

Ganesh Hospitality Inc is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The position is set in a dynamic atmosphere such as a hotel, motel, or resort, where attention to detail and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure cleanliness.
  • Dust and maintain furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered items.
  • Make beds and change linens as required.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Organize and stock the linen closet.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Maintain cleanliness in operating rooms and other designated areas.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators and common areas.
  • Manage lost and found items effectively.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or information.
  • Remove debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and teamwork are essential.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
