Surgical Services Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Royal Columbian Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and evidence-based guidelines to deliver best-in-class care.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- One year of recent relevant clinical nursing experience in the designated clinical area.
- Post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
