In the role of Inventory Coordinator, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Management Superintendent. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the oversight of inventory management, including analysis and optimization efforts within the Supply Chain Management team. This position plays a vital role in applying best practices in inventory control, minimizing excess stock, and managing issues related to obsolescence, warranty claims, repairs, and exchanges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify safety leadership by promoting a proactive culture focused on health, safety, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.
- Evaluate and manage inventory levels to mitigate obsolescence and enhance stock optimization.
- Conduct comprehensive analytical assessments to support inventory management objectives.
- Implement best practices in inventory oversight and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with teams across Maintenance, Reliability, Asset Health, and Finance to fulfill their inventory requirements.
- Guide and mentor the existing inventory analysts to improve their capabilities and utilize available resources effectively.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards.
- Oversee Component Performance Guarantee (CPG) processes to confirm that components meet established performance criteria.
- Manage warranty claims with a focus on timely and accurate resolution.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Business or Supply Chain Management.
- SCMP designation is an asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proven interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in high-performance environments.
- Experience with inventory management software and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Salary Range: $81,500 - $101,000
The actual base salary offered will be based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies, while also considering internal equity.
