Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Willing to relocate
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Accommodation and food services

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • MS Outlook
  • MS Access
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word
  • MS Windows

Work Environment:

  • Permanent work term
  • English language
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
