About This Role

In collaboration with inventory management and logistics, you will implement and maintain the required mini markets (kanban) in production cells. You will be responsible for adjusting parameters in Oracle ERP management systems and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI). You will work closely with existing teams and in compliance with division policies and procedures.

Your Challenges:

  • Reviewing new mini market (kanban) requirements and making the necessary adjustments.
  • Prioritizing implementations to ensure stock availability to meet project deadlines.
  • Acting as a contact for manufacturing and assembly cells, industrial engineering, and logistics.
  • Fostering clear communication among parties and ensuring follow-up.
  • Evaluating business needs on an ongoing basis and making the required adjustments.

Your Strengths:

  • College diploma or Bachelor of Business Administration degree (operations and production management option), industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of sourcing is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) software and in-house software.
  • Ability with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of MRP and various manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machine parts, electromechanical assembly, and assembly chain).
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent team spirit; good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, good team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sense of initiative.
  • Bilingualism is required.
