Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at J & S Cabinet Doors Ltd. As an Instrument Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain our instruments and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Repair and Calibration: Repair and calibrate system components, including instruments and measuring devices.
  • Test and Maintenance Reports: Complete thorough test and maintenance reports to document the condition of our instruments and systems.
  • Component Replacement and Installation: Remove and replace defective parts, and install new measuring instruments as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and Coaching: Use logical approach for troubleshooting and coach and instruct apprentices on instrument maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Scheduled Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to ensure our instruments and systems are running at peak performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in instrument maintenance and repair.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
