Job Title: Instrument Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at J & S Cabinet Doors Ltd.

Job Summary

The Instrument Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various instruments and systems. This includes calibrating components, troubleshooting issues, and performing scheduled preventive maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect operation of instruments and systems to identify potential issues
  • Repair and adjust system components to ensure optimal performance
  • Complete test and maintenance reports to document work completed
  • Remove and replace defective parts to maintain system integrity
  • Calibrate components and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Determine testing and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Install new measuring instruments to upgrade system capabilities
  • Coach and instruct apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to prevent system downtime
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in instrument maintenance and repair
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package
  • 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime
  • English language proficiency
