About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Kubik Inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program parts for CNC machines by reading and interpreting approved fabrication drawings.
  • Read drawings and/or sketches of work and establish machining methods, materials, and setups needed to machine the parts required.
  • Translate 2D or 3D drawings into machine-readable programs to operate CNC routers, including call-outs for all material requirements.
  • Support production on a daily basis to ensure that client needs are being met.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for new materials.
  • Program nesting configurations for production staff to optimize material use.
  • Program prototypes, samples, and templates.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD/CNC Programming and setup, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop.
  • Experience in cabinetmaking is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Biesse software is an asset.
  • Experience with MasterCAM.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Comfortable using basic and advanced measuring equipment.
Work Environment

Hours of work are 7:00-4:30 with opportunities for overtime.
