We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team at ROCKY CROSS CONSTRUCTION (VICTORIA) LTD. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our apartment/condominium complex.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from various areas of the complex.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and maintain a clean environment.
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
- Dust furniture to prevent dust buildup and maintain a clean environment.
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Own transportation to travel to various locations within the complex.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects.
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
