Event Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Security Supervisor to join our team at Securiguard. As a key member of our events security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property at various events.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor entrances and exits, checking tickets or credentials, and patrolling the premises to deter any potential disruptions or unauthorized activities.
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or disturbances, implementing appropriate protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or medical personnel as needed.
- Assist with crowd control, providing directions or assistance to attendees, and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to their supervisors.
- Ensure a safe environment for patrons and staff by maintaining a high level of situational awareness and responding promptly to any security concerns.
- Valid security workers license or ability to obtain.
- Class 5 Drivers License.
- Experience dealing with Low-Risk Facilities (LFIs).
- Good stress management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with clients.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Experience using a radio.
- Ability to stand/walk for an 8+ hour period.
- Customer service experience required.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Retired RCMP, law enforcement, or military background an asset.
