Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Balaji Foods Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Direct and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.

Financial Management

Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.

Reporting

Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Communication

Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and completed to our high standards.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Supervision

1 to 2 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
