Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Comfora Home Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

Job Summary:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely, if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of personal care and support techniques.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including English.
