Senior Structural Engineer (P.Eng.)

Join the Arcadis Building Structural Group as a licensed Senior Structural Engineer (P.Eng.). We are looking for a skilled professional to enhance our team in delivering exceptional structural solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the design of structures for various sectors, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and transit infrastructure, particularly focusing on both underground and above-ground transit systems.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing remarkable structures that contribute positively to the urban landscape and improve the quality of life for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the structural design team to ensure effective project execution.
  • Coordinate structural engineering efforts with other technical disciplines.
  • Engage with external partners and clients to align project goals.
  • Conduct detailed structural modeling, analysis, and design, while preparing and reviewing technical reports and drawings.
  • Work closely with BIM professionals to produce accurate design documentation.
  • Evaluate construction submissions and address any identified structural issues.
  • Perform site inspections during construction phases to verify adherence to structural specifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered P.Eng with the appropriate licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in the design of buildings and large-scale underground structures.
  • Strong proficiency in structural analysis software and familiarity with relevant building codes.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel to project locations.
