Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care to join our team at The Grand Canal Retirement Residence.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety and comfort.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing team.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document resident care and progress accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized personal support worker program or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role.
