We are currently seeking candidates for multiple roles to support ongoing and upcoming projects across Western Canada. This is a full-time, project-based position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage daily with project teams to assess production timelines and ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and resources are available to maintain project schedules and budgetary constraints.
  • Gather, coordinate, and evaluate shop drawings, design specifications, material needs, and project data throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with quality and contract specifications.
  • Provide technical insights for project work plans and scheduling, identifying potential risks related to production, materials, equipment, or processes that may adversely affect the budget or timeline.
  • Assess daily production, scheduling, and budget forecasts to accurately monitor project performance, documenting daily activities using company-approved methods and technologies.
  • Inform team members and management of any significant changes to the schedule and propose solutions for consideration.
  • Submit precise project quantity inputs and manage cost coding to ensure accurate financial reporting for the project. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams regarding employee time, materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
  • Review project specifications for quality assurance at the onset of work, during the project, and upon completion. Initiate and manage necessary certificates, inspections, and documentation related to construction activities on-site.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and engineering leaders to strategize field layout on the project site, ensuring that utility and commercial lines are marked prior to the commencement of work. Manage any required permits before work initiation.
  • Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedules, and teams as necessary.
  • Complete job close-out checklists in collaboration with owner representatives and field teams at the project's conclusion.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Your Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or a suitable combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience as a Field Engineer or Project Coordinator, preferably in project engineering or heavy civil construction.
  • Familiarity with construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and applicable standards for the project.
  • Proficient in construction-related software (e.g., Primavera Scheduling software, AutoCAD, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexibly in both field and office environments.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000.
