Your Role as an Assistant Store Manager

As an integral member of our management team, you will contribute significantly to the operational success and growth of our store. Your collaboration with the Store Manager will be crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations, achieving performance targets, and upholding our esteemed company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily operations to meet performance indicators and exceed customer expectations.
  • Promote and embody the brand's values to foster a positive shopping atmosphere.
  • Implement corporate initiatives and strategies consistently across the store.
  • Support the execution of seasonal initiatives and specific store requirements.
  • Engage in effective succession planning, recruitment, and training to enhance team stability.
  • Mentor and develop staff through constructive feedback and coaching opportunities.
  • Encourage a high-performance culture by establishing clear expectations and team goals.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create actionable plans and timelines.
  • Oversee training and execution in all operational areas, including sales and customer service.
  • Manage employee records and performance evaluations diligently.
  • Work with the Store Manager to optimize inventory and product selections.
  • Assist in maintaining budgetary controls and minimizing operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment that meets legal standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

A college or university degree coupled with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Retail Management or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous leadership experience in a retail setting.
  • Strong skills in retail operations and business management.
  • Exceptional coaching and talent management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in various software applications, including MS Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
