Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in production management, with a focus on cheese production and processing activities.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate production activities to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility.
- Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
- Ensure safety, sanitation, HACCP, BRC, GMP, and company food safety policies are practiced.
- Develop and implement production tracking systems to detect production problems.
- Train, evaluate, coach, and terminate staff, and resolve personnel grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification.
- Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
- Institute employee suggestion or involvement programs.
- Food/dairy/manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Motivated and proactive individual with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and committed to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Quick learner who easily adapts to change.
