Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment, and research.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and reporting of diagnostic results to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of laboratory performance.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time temporary position with a shift pattern that includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call duties. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $35.45 - $46.69 per hour, depending on experience.
