Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Grande Prairie Rgnl Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, and analysis of diagnostic samples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment, and research.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Preferred Qualifications:

As Required.
