As a key member of our WSAudiology team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client experiences at our Nanaimo, BC hearing clinic. This is a full-time Monday to Friday day shift opportunity, ideal for someone with strong administration and customer service skills looking to join a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients, handling client-facing and front-desk duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting clients.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as processing payments, maintaining client files, ordering supplies, and receiving incoming mail and packages.
  • Educate patients on hearing device payment plans, insurance direct-billing, trial periods, and basic product questions to increase sales and foster loyalty to our services and products.
  • Participate in HearCANADA branding and marketing initiatives, including attending community-based events, marketing collateral drop-offs, and networking with other healthcare providers.
  • Assist clinical team members with sanitization and equipment as directed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail customer service, administration, sales, or clinic capacity (or a blend of these settings).
  • Experience in a retail or sales-oriented environment is strongly preferred.
  • An energetic, self-driven individual who is excited about business development and community partnerships/marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred, as the role will involve some work-related local travel to events/marketing engagements.
