Position Overview

The Data Entry Specialist role is an entry-level opportunity that demands proficient typing abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. This position is designed for remote work, offering hourly compensation. Candidates must exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities and effective time management skills. The Data Entry Specialist will report directly to the Director of Operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets to monitor essential information and sales metrics.
  • Update and manage the database by entering new and revised account details.
  • Ensure data entry compliance by adhering to established data program techniques and protocols.
  • Review and verify entered account information by correcting, deleting, or re-entering data as necessary.
  • Provide occasional administrative assistance as required.
  • Support special projects that necessitate extensive data entry efforts.

Essential Duties
  • Conduct data entry in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Prepare data for entry into systems.
  • Assist with entry-level tasks within the data entry department.
  • Perform data entry tasks using computer systems.
  • Handle data entry related to credits.
  • Offer entry-level administrative support for data entry operations.
  • Manage high-volume data entry tasks efficiently.
  • Process new applications through data entry.
  • Execute clerical duties and data entry responsibilities.
  • Perform data entry tasks including typing and faxing.
  • Identify and rectify data entry errors promptly.
  • Maintain data entry standards by following established techniques.
  • Input data into applications and collaborate with relevant parties to ensure accuracy.
  • Train new employees on the data entry system.
  • Carry out routine clerical and data entry functions.
  • Ensure timely data entry and effective file management.
  • Operate data entry devices for various keypunching and verification tasks.
  • Establish protocols for data entry for each client.
  • Review and confirm data accuracy prior to entry.
  • Conduct daily audits and make necessary data entry corrections.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry.
  • Ability to store physical copies of data in an organized manner for easy retrieval.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills is essential.
  • Reliable internet connection is required.
  • Basic proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must be a resident of the United States.
