Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at PCS Property Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring they are properly maintained and cared for.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to assist with grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Organize and plan the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, taking into account seasonal changes and weather conditions.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and weeding.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials needed for grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, including installing new features and repairing existing ones.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tender and administer contracts for grounds maintenance services.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
