We are seeking a skilled Property Claims Appraiser, Major Loss to join our team at Intact. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting large loss sites and producing detailed repair estimates for buildings with major damage.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to assess damage and develop accurate repair estimates
- Travel to customers' locations to gather information and provide technical support
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate restoration cost agreements and ensure timely completion
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to deliver exceptional service
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to provide expert advice and guidance
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in post-claim appraisal with expertise in large losses
- Diploma in building appraisal or related field
- Technical and practical knowledge of building restoration
