Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cash handling processes and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee the sales floor to ensure efficient customer service.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to promote growth and development.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
