We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience and maintaining a high level of store appearance.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Authorize payments by cheque and resolve any issues that may arise
- Establish work schedules and supervise office and volunteer staff
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or sales environment
- Permanent employment with a recognized employer
- 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing store needs
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
